Description
Queer youth are often in spaces that are queerphobic, transphobic, and racist, which leads them to seek various coping mechanisms. This coloring book is a way for youth to communicate emotions, ideas, and experiences, as well as a way for queer communities in Washington to feel connected, renewed, and ready to fulfill their dreams.
As a prevention tool, this coloring book can help queer youth manage their stress and reaffirm their confidence and love for themselves and others. Coloring pages in the book include messaging like, “Believe trans people,” “Still queer,” “Let trans kids grow,” “Love wins,” “Substance free,” and “Sobriety is queer.” Illustrations include a diverse representation of people and topics, as well as fun pages full of cats, different foods, flowers, and more!
